  • Casita #1 Peek a View~ Great communication from host. The place is up a steep street but are rewarded with a killer view. The bedrooms are separated by the common area. There's not too much in terms of furniture if you have more than 2 people. The onsite manager is super friendly with information about sayulita.

  • Casita #2 Whispering Palms~Great staff and great plave!

    — Tracy Bartholomew, 18 Jun 2017
  • Casita #4 Ocean Windows~The view was fantastic and a perfect bit of peace when the town was crazy for semana santa. Check in was seemless and everyone was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

  • Casita #2 Whispering Palms~The view is stellar, the location is excellent (quiet, but still close enough to the beach and town for walking), and the home has everything you would need. We took advantage of the plunge pool very often to cool off after a day at the beach or walking around town. And Ricardo, the caretaker, is so helpful and lovely. We absolutely did not want to leave.

  • Casita #5 Paradise Penthouse~This casita is nothing short of stunning! It was truly a beautiful and romantic experience and one I would recommend to everyone. Everything about this place, from the houseman Ricardo (he is so wonderful) to the view was amazing!!!

  • Casita #4 Ocean Windows~ Spectacular view and comfortable place.

  • Casita #4 Ocean Windows~ We loved our stay in Sayulita!! This is a great space for families and vacationers. It is not right in town but not too far either. It was the perfect place to get off the grid. (There is wifi but it is slow & no TV.) The views are amazing and the staff at the house are very friendly and helpful! It was great having a kitchen. We rented a golf cart in town so we could be lazy (and drag our 5 year old up the hill at night after a long day on the beach!) but that is not necessary. I highly recommend staying here.

  • Casita #5 Paradise Penthouse~There's no better view of Sayulita than this. We awoke to stunning vistas every day, and consistently marveled at the beauty we'd witness every time we'd look out the window. It was like being in a tropical treehouse. It's an easy walk to town, far enough out of the town centre that things are pretty quiet. It's a little uphill, but we appreciated that, given how much we ate in Sayulita. The amenities certainly met our needs – it's perfect for a couple. Very romantic.

    — Harley Cooper, 30 Dec 2016
  • Casita #1 Peek a View~Lynn provided excellent communication, including reviews of local restaurants and activities. Peek A View was clean and the descriptions of the accommodations were true to our experience. Peek A View offers a quiet alternative a short walk from the activity of town.

    — Melissa Peterson Stedman Principal, 03 Apr 2016
  • Casita #1 Peek a View~This space is great for a family or two couples. The unit has two bedrooms, one of which is set apart from the main area with its own entrance from the balcony. The kitchen is well-stocked so we were able to cook and eat on the lovely balcony, which has a partial view of the ocean. Quick walk to North Sayulita and the beach. There is a short, steep hill approaching the house. Highly recommend!

    — Daniel Schley, 26 Mar 2016
  • Casita #5 Paradise Penthouse~Lynn and Greg were great to work with, had incredible communication and were very welcoming. They give you a lot of insider tips that really help for first time visitors. The place was beautiful, clean and just as described. For me, it was the perfect mix of being far enough North of town that it was quiet, relaxed and a great place to sleep but close enough to walk to town/the beach/everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

  • Casita #5 Paradise Penthouse~Going to an area where you've never been is always a nerve racking experience. Lynn assisted tremendously with the set up of the rental, and provided TONS of tips, tricks and recommendations for Sayulita! Communication was great as well. Once we were there, Greg was a great host. There when you needed him, left you alone otherwise...the way a host should be. Offered great advice as well. The view is AMAZING. The photos on the website don't do it justice. Separated enough from the center of town to give you peace...but EVERYTHING is walkable in Sayulita, so don't be concerned with being too far. Already looking at bringing the whole family to Sayulita during Christmas.

  • BALCONY PATIO WAS PERFEFT
#3 Tropical Breeze. The space was perfect for 2 couples, as each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view was spectacular, the landscaping was beautiful. The patio was the perfect place to relax both in the morning and evening hours. Lynn was very easy to work with and responded to our questions immediately. Greg was readily available on site with great knowledge about the area. We had a wonderful time in Sayulita and would come back to Casa Sayulita anytime! Kale January 2015

  • Casita #5 Paradise Penthouse~Sometimes it's the little things that make one feel welcome. Like a bag of excellent coffee and a basket full of snacks (which I devoured!), a comfy firm bed with crisp fresh sheets, really nice pillows and a clean comforter, or just the whole casita being spotlessly clean! Then it is the amazing view from everywhere you look, the sunrises and sunsets were the best of anywhere I've stayed in Sayulita! When town got to be a bit too much, I just came back to the Penthouse to enjoy the peace and quiet! I guess that is what they call siesta time! The walk to the main part of town is easy (I usually went via the beach) and the really excellent restaurants on the north side are just a quick stroll away. The road up to the house is a bit steep but short and, hey, views like that don't come for free! You will not meet more friendly hosts then Greg and Yadi! And if surf casting is your thing, your are really in luck, as Greg is the local expert! All and all I would come back and stay at #5 in an instant! Highly recommended!

  • Casita #4 Ocean Windows~My family (husband and two kids, ages 7 and 5) had an amazing time at Ocean Windows. We're already talking about trying to get our extended family to come back sometime with us! Lynn was incredibly responsive and helpful and friendly throughout the process. It was great to meet Greg when we arrived and had some great conversations with him throughout our stay. When we walked into the apt we just couldn't believe how lovely it was and the views were incredibly amazing. I liked the layout of the place and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great to get to the less crowded end of the beach and to town. We walked everywhere even though we had a car. We had a really great and relaxing stay there and I would highly recommend it!

  • LOVED THE SEPARATE ROOM
I really loved the setup of the #1 Peek A View unit at Casitas Sayulita because it had a room for our daughter that was separate from our room and living area (so we could put her to sleep and then continue hanging out). The deck is beautiful and has a nice view, and we spent a lot of time there. We walked everywhere -- it's about 15 minutes to the center of town and the main surfing area, but only 5 minutes to some restaurants and a nearer portion of the beach. Casitas Sayulitas is located up a bit of a hill, so we got a workout each time we walked up to our place. Greg and Yadi were really helpful -- Greg even gave us a small bucket and shovel for our daughter to play with in the sand (and she loved it). Lynn was also responsive and helpful, giving us useful pointers when we were packing ahead of time. I also really liked how they have a few units at Casitas Sayulitas, so if we were to go there again in the future with other friends or family, we could all be there together but in our own units. It's a good setup. Erin R December 2015

We loved Casitas Sayulita because it was close enough to walk to everything, but removed enough to enjoy a quiet and peaceful view of the bay and town below. It Is just a 5 min walk to the better beaches in town (quiet, less tourists and hype). Greg and Yadi were kind and helpful, but gave us privacy. The sunsets were magnificent! We also loved Jakal, a small, no frills restaurant that is super close to Casitas Sayulita! Great spot, we highly recommend the penthouse unit to any couple wanting privacy, quiet and romance!

The view is from the condo is undeniably breath taking and it was a real pleasure to be able to hear the ocean waves when we woke up. I will say that I dont think that photos give the view justice. The condo is nestled nicely on a hill but be prepared for a steep climb. The condo is placed in a location that is very close to the jungle. So be prepared to deal with a lot of ants. Dont leave any food out anywhere or be prepared to deal with a colony. A little more maintenance and possibly investing in spraying or providing ant traps will help with the problem. Again the condo is located in the jungle so bugs are to be expected. The condo comes with the basics in the case of amenities. There is a fridge and a stove top. But no oven, microwave or toaster. There is no pool which would have been great to jump into after the hike up the hill. Also, be sure to bring your own beach amenities as none are provided. All in all the condo was very comfortable and the view makes up for all of the things that were missing. With routine maintenance and up keep this property has a lot of potential.

  • FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY
#1 Peek A View. Lynn was incredibly fast in replying to our emails (sometimes within minutes!), and her brother Greg was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. For example, we ran out of water a few times, and Greg was quick to give us another jug. He also gave us good tips to make our experience in Sayulita that much better. The apartment itself was very spacious -- we were two couples. In fact, our impression was that the apartment was larger than what you see in the photos, so that was a pleasant surprise. The neighbourhood was also very nice. Perched up on a hill, we were away from the hustle and bustle of things, but still very close to beach (roughly 5 minutes). Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and we hope to return soon.

  • The facility was very adequate for the three of us, including a nine year old. It was clean and quite well maintained. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials and everything worked. There was covered off street parking which was an advantage since the front street is quite narrow. Guests should be sure to get detailed instructions on getting there; it is difficult to find and the locals weren't a lot of help. All in all, I would recommend it as good value and a positive experience. #1 Peek A View

  • I am tempted to try to wrap this review in subtlety, as there is no other place I'd ever seek to stay in sayulita. And woe is me, when everybody finds out just how amazing each of the Casitas in Casitas Sayulita truly are. We were blown away, waking up and going to bed overlooking the entire town....We stayed that way for six or seven days, who's counting? The place itself is beautifully appointed, with both functional and beautiful lighting options. The owners, Lynn and Greg are a pleasure to chat with, bring your big tackle and pole if you want to catch some shore fishing with the ever-ready greg. Don't mention it if you don't like seeing grown men light up like a child on christmas morning. There are a few crucial things any gringo might need in the Mexican Riviera supplied in the house, so take advantage of the Juicer! hit the market, stock the fridge freezer, make the local coffee, use the blender for smoothies, the casitas are ready for you mang. For a spectacular view, this place requires spectacular legs! its not a long hike, but a steep one to get there. We ended up renting a car for super cheap in PV (so the tour bus could leave whenever we wanted) and found a mix of walking and driving with heavy things to be easy! 15 min walk to downtown, 5 min cruise. Killer private beach just north of the main thing was our go-to. Wouldn't trade another chance at this place for the world. We could not possibly be happier; there, I said it.

We loved coming back to our balcony for sunset and the peaceful evenings at the condo.

We would definitely recommend this condo to other travelers looking for a great experience, the only downside is that this is not a beachfront condo.

  • Family Fun at Casitas Sayulita
We needed a special vacation with our friends for New Years 2012 and were so happy that we were able to stay at Casitas Sayulita. We stayed in #2 Whispering Palms, with another friend, and also had friends staying in #5 Paradise Penthouse. This was perfect. We were able to gather around the ocean view Jacuzzi after we spent the day at the beach. We paid Yadi to make breakfast each day for us all before we ventured into town and the beach for the day.
On the day that it was a little rainy we stayed cozy inside and played on the internet.
Casitas Sayulita is a great spot to come with a group of friends or family. You have your own space, yet can still gather together easily.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed at Casitas Sayulita in November 2013 and loved the #3 Tropical Breeze suite. We loved having a kitchen where we could prepare late night snacks and have cereal for breakfast. We visited friends living in the jungle area south of town, had tons of fun, and were so happy to come back to the our clean, cool spot at Casitas Sayulita.
I hope we can return for my birthday in April. I think this time we will stay in #4 Ocean Windows as we like the dome and how cozy it is.
By the way, we loved visiting with Greg and Yadi while lounging on our beautiful ocean view balcony.

It has been a very long time since I stayed in Sayulita at this family's guest comfort focused retreat and I hope to be able to get back down there in the not too distant future! As I was reading the description of the village of Sayulita and the property I thought "I could not have explained it better myself!". There is something magical about this charming village and the hosts are really great people who go above and beyond for their guests. Every possible guest need or hearts desire has been taken in to consideration while creating their wonderful guest properties. I would give this 10 stars if I could

  • We have passed many lovely vacations staying at the Adams' properties in Sayulita. The house on the hill, as we always have called it, has been a truly magical retreat since we started coming there. Its location, perched on the side of the jungle hill, affords a view that took my breath away the first time I arrived - it is a bird's eye view that one can't get from many other parts of Sayulita because of the terrain. The sunsets from this location are the stuff of dreams - if I was a poet I'd come up with something better than that! Apart from being beautiful, the rooms are special both because the family has great taste in building design and because you feel welcome and comfortable. I love the open air approach of the building - it is pretty incredible to sleep in a comfortable bed breathing fresh, clean ocean air yet still have peace and quiet. That is certainly a cure for a busy work environment back home! The owners are some of the warmest and most accommodating people I've ever had the pleasure to rent rooms from - and if you have the chance to get them to cook for you, you are really in for a treat! I can't think of a better way to spend my days in Sayulita playing at the beach and then sitting on one of the balconies here, watching the sun slowly melt over the hills and water.

  • Casita #1 Peek a View~The staff were super helpful, nice and welcoming. We arrived in the night but were happily welcomed. Also, we got new towels and refill of drinking water during our stay. We enjoyed our time at peek a view as it was well located in a quiet area near the village and the beach. Listening the voices of the jungle and the waves in the night was pretty amazing. Also, there's a nice view for watching local bird species on the terrace. The kitchen facilities were great. The only thing that bothered us were the narrow beds that should accommodate 2 pple and that there was no water bucket provided where you could wash your feet off from sand after the day on the beach. Still, I'd recommend the place for 2 couples, a family with adolescents and friend groups!
