Details of the 5 Ocean View Casitas

PARADISE PENTHOUSE: This Casita is on level 5 and does have a few more stairs than the others do to deliver you to your entrance and your own “crows nest” sweeping ocean view of the bay of Sayulita. Every day is a like a Honeymoon adventure in this beautiful round architectural suite. Watch for parrots flying by at eye level while lounging on your private entrance ocean view balcony. You’ll love the ocean views from your deluxe king sized bed, living & dining areas, kitchen and even the bathroom.

Supporting beams have been designed by local masons to resemble palm trunks and the dining area sports a charming red brick dome. Sit under the dome and sip a frosty drink you've prepared in your cute kitchenette that has been designed for Mexican stove top cooking. Lounge at the kitchen bar and help your partner prepare a batch of guacamole to go with those crunchy chips from one of the village markets. With all the artistic details in the structure and on the walls you will get a sense of how sweet the blend is when modern meets tropical.

OCEAN WINDOWS: As you enter level 4 have your camera ready to capture the unusual and distinct architectural detail of your oval brick domed ceiling. You would have been amazed to have seen it being built…kind of like the pyramids. You are in for a treat with all the beautiful dimensional sea shell mosaic back splashes in the kitchenette and bath that were created by the family and their artistic tile setter Oscar. Dining and living are at their modern Mexican finest with views of the sparkling ocean and tops of the palms from your extensive windows.

There is plenty of room to play games at the dining table and enjoy the spectacular Sayulita sunsets from your inviting living room and covered balcony. After a day of adventures at the beach and village you’ll enjoy a sweet sleep on a queen bed in your 2 bedroom 1 bathroom Casita. Hand painted sayings on the bedroom walls will encourage you to dream a bigger dream. In the morning you may like creating a yummy fresh fruit salad in your compact Mexican stove top style kitchenette. Or you may prefer to sip a cup of tea and just enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean from all your view windows in every room. Get up, get going and be sure to return in time to relax on your ocean view balcony and snap a series of colorful sunset photos to enjoy on your return home from this paradise.

TROPICAL BREEZE is on level 3 and is one of the 5 charming ocean view Casitas located in the lush and tropical Casitas Sayulita family built compound. Step into your breezy ocean view Casita and be prepared to start clicking photos before you even unpack. What a view!!!  Can you imagine the sunsets??? Grab a cool drink from the fridge, kick off your sandals and head to your ocean view balcony. Each of the 2 private ocean view bedroom suites feature a top of the line King sized bed, with a wall of hand painted sayings to encourage your sweet dreams. Each private bath boasts ocean views even from the shower. A third bath off the dining room provides easy access while preparing snacks or coming in from the ocean view balcony.

This whole Casita is filled with tropical tiles and inspirational sayings painted on the walls by Tia’s daughter.  Mirrors reflect the lush vegetation and sparkling ocean water no matter which direction you are looking. Creativity and simplicity have joined hands to create this charming and restful retreat.

Be creative Mexican style in your kitchen with stove top cooking. Feel free to whip up a blender drink, chop tomatoes, onions and chilies for a salsa fresca, and melt yourself a tasty quesadilla.  Set a pretty table or play cards in your roomy dining and living room. Ok…this is a great spot to hang and use your computer if you must, I have! You will most likely spend the majority of your time lounging on the large, well furnished, breezy balcony with your feet up. It’s kind of like having a whole extra great room to relax in.

WHISPERING PALMS: Level 2 was the first Casa built and was originally Tia Adriana’s personal ocean view residence. The roomy inside living space, large covered balcony space and outdoor sunning yard are the largest of all the 5 levels and earns the name of Casa rather than Casita, meaning little house. It has retained the love and magic of Tia and the many family holidays, vacations and everyday moments shared there. Bring your family to this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Casa as it is child friendly with its large living room, full sized kitchen with stove and oven, roomy dining area, and sweeping wrap around balconies.

One romantic double bed, bedroom with attached bath has a private entrance at the end of the view balcony. The other attached bedroom invites you in for your evening rest on a luscious king bed. The main bathroom is very roomy and sports a very large open shower. If you bring a group and fill all 5 levels the kitchen in Whispering Palms is the one to use to prepare snacks or meals for your group as it features a large central prep and serving island. Outdoor covered balconies and gardens create a wonderful spot for dining and viewing the sunsets over the ocean. Keep your camera set to capture the colorful moments.

This Casa is fully walled and private while retaining vast ocean views and lush landscape. The tropical garden features several hand painted tile murals and a tranquil sounding waterfall. Handpainted tiles throughout the kitchens and baths were created by Tia Adriana and her daughter from historic Huichol Indian symbols. This is one creative family. Bring another family to enjoy the Castia PEEK A VIEW along with you and create a yearly tradition. You will want to use your imagination and vacation with your best friends.

PEEK A VIEW: Bring your surfboard and your friends and create more than a few lasting memories. Safe storage for your boards is a feature of this Casita.  Enjoy indoor outdoor living in your ocean view 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Casita.  One double bed bedroom and bath combo has a private entrance at the end of your balcony. The other double bed bedroom and bath is located off the living area and kitchen. Kitchen and baths feature hand painted tiles by Tia and her daughter with historic symbols of native Huichol Indians. Tia has supported the Huichol Indian tribes for most of her years in Sayulita and she was honored when they allowed her to use their symbols. You can kick back and take a break from a morning of surf and sun out on the balcony, or concoct tasty treats in your kitchen and prepare for a breath taking sunset. In the midst of lush landscape you still have a lovely ocean view and breezy atmosphere. Handpainted tiles abound and artistic sayings inspire. Keep your camera ready for photos with the parrots in the palms close by and return often.

Native tropical vegetation, wind in the palms and local colorful birds add to the well established charm of the 5 private levels of Casitas Sayulita. You are a quick walk to the beach, town and yummy restaurants. This is indoor-outdoor living at its finest. You may never want to leave your luxurious ocean view terrace but only in leaving do you have the opportunity to dream of returning and creating more memories.
